Plant Clip

The plant clip is a solution that allows plants with climbing stems, such as tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and eggplants, to be secured to the support string without damaging it in greenhouse cultivation.

In traditional methods (string wrapping or knotting), as the plant’s stem grows and thickens, it is compressed and strangled by the string. This damages the plant’s veins that carry nutrients and water, leading to a loss of yield.

The plant clips we offer at Mirza Tarım allow the plant to thicken freely and continue uninterrupted nutrient transport by leaving a secure gap between the plant stem and the string.

Description

Save on labor with Plant Tying Clips

In greenhouse farming, one of the biggest cost items is labor. Tying plants individually to string is both time-consuming and requires skill. However, the use of plant tying clips incredibly speeds up this process. These products, which can be assembled in seconds with a single click, significantly reduce labor costs. They also completely eliminate plant breakage and stem damage caused by incorrect tying.

Another critical feature of our plant clip product is its breathable cage structure. Special air channels around the clip allow the stem to breathe. This feature prevents moisture accumulation under the clip in humid greenhouse environments, minimizing the risk of fungal diseases such as “Botrytis” (Gray Mold), which is a nightmare for growers.

Strong Grip: Plant Hanger and Support Clip

In plants with a heavy fruit load, such as cluster tomatoes, it is vital that the stem does not slip down. Our plant support clips, thanks to their locking mechanism that grips the rope, prevent slipping even under tons of load. No matter how much fruit your plant produces, the clip keeps it securely in place. Also known as plant support clips, these products, with their smooth inner surface and rounded edges, do not cut or damage even the most delicate young shoots.

Plant Clip Price

Some growers may opt for traditional methods, focusing on the initial investment cost. However, when compared to the labor savings, disease prevention, and improved product quality offered by plant clips, their price is quite advantageous.
