Water-Permeable Porous Structure and Mud-Free Ground
Unlike standard plastic mulches, ground covers have a porous structure thanks to a special weaving technique. This feature prevents irrigation water or rainwater from accumulating on the surface, allowing it to seep into the soil.
Preventing water from pooling prevents mud formation inside the greenhouse and creates a clean, non-slip, safe walking path for workers. Additionally, balancing ground moisture significantly reduces the risk of fungal diseases such as root rot in plants. In both potted production and soil-based farming, it completely stops weed growth by blocking light while allowing water to reach the soil.
High Strength and UV Resistance
The most important quality criterion for agricultural ground covers is durability. At Mirza Tarım, our ground covers are made from 100% polypropylene (PP) raw material and are reinforced with UV (ultraviolet) additives to protect against the sun’s harmful rays.
