Insectnet Insect Screen 25-40-50 Mesh

Greenhouse net varieties are used in modern agriculture to protect plant health, improve product quality, and eliminate losses caused by external factors. In open field or protected cultivation, the scorching effects of the sun, hail, wind, and harmful insects are among the greatest risks threatening the farmer’s labor. Professional net systems make these risks manageable by creating a controlled living environment (microclimate) for plants. The shade and insect nets we offer at Mirza Tarım are the most reliable shield for greenhouses for many years thanks to their high-strength weaves and UV (ultraviolet) resistance.

Shade Curtain Solutions

Plants need sunlight to perform photosynthesis; however, too much sunlight causes leaf burns and stress-related yield losses. Shade cloth disperses sunlight into the greenhouse by filtering it at ideal ratios. This allows the temperature inside the greenhouse to be controlled and reduces water loss in plants. Shade cloths, used not only in greenhouses but also in nurseries and landscaping areas, defy the wind with their reinforced edges that resist tearing. Available in different densities to suit your needs, these cloths ensure that plants receive just the right amount of light according to their species.

No Passage for Pests: Insectnet (Insect Netting)

The most effective way to grow healthy produce while reducing chemical pesticide use is to prevent pests from entering the greenhouse in the first place. Insectnet (insect netting) creates a physical barrier when applied to the greenhouse’s ventilation openings. However, the critical point here is selecting the correct mesh size. At Mirza Tarım, we offer customized solutions tailored to the specific pest species you are targeting:

  • 25 Mesh: Ideal for preventing bumblebees from escaping or large pests from entering. Air circulation is at its best.
  • 40 Mesh: Provides standard protection against medium-sized pests such as Tuta (tomato moth) and aphids. It is the most commonly preferred mesh size among farmers.
  • 50 Mesh: Provides the highest protection against microscopic pests such as thrips and whiteflies. Despite its tightly woven structure, it does not impede airflow in the greenhouse and maintains the humidity balance inside.
